Thin Mini-ITX Board for IoT Applications.


Some know Elkhart Lake as a small community in Wisconsin, many associate the name with the new generation of Intel Pentium, Celeron and Atom processors.

The Elkhart Lake processor platform was developed specifically by Intel to enable applications in the IoT environment: Intel Programmable Service Engine (PSE) provides integrated IoT functions, remote device management, and also optimizations for real-time computing such as Intel Time Coordinated Computing TCC and Time Sensitive Network, Intel Safety Island provides protection mechanisms as well as functional safety.

The thin mini-ITX mainboard PD10EHI from ICP Germany is equipped with Elkhart Lake processors. Standard power-saving versions are available with Intel Pentium N6415 4-core processor with 6.5 Watt TDP and a 1.2 GHz base clock and 3.0 GHz turbo clock as well as with Intel Celeron N6211 2-core processor also with 6.5 Watt TDP, 1.2 GHz base clock and 3.0GHz turbo clock. Optional Intel Atom processors x6425E, x6245RE and x6427FE are available to meet applications in the extended industrial environment.

The M.2 MEC-LAN-2001i and MEC-LAN-LAN-2002i are 3-in-1 modules that can be mounted on M.2 2280, 2260 or 2242 slots. CPU performance, fanless design and expansion slots for add-on modules are combined in the new MP1-11TGS-D embedded PC series from ICP Germany.

Performance comes from the 11th generation Intel® CoreTM I processors, also known as Tiger Lake UP3. Two entry-level versions are available with dual-core processors, an Intel® Celeron® 6305 with 4MB cache and 1.8GHz clock speed and an Intel® CoreTM i3-1115G4E with 6MB cache and 2.2GHz base clock as well as 3.9GHz turbo clock. For demanding computing tasks, a version with Intel® CoreTM i5-1145G7E is available, a quad-core processor with 8MB cache and 1.5GHz base clock as well as 4.1GHz turbo clock. High-end computing applications run best on the Intel® CoreTM i7-1185G7E with four processor cores, 12MB cache and a base clock of 1.8GHz as well as a turbo clock of 4.4GHz.

The MP series brings improved CPU performance, enhanced graphics performance and additional functions for the use of artificial intelligence.
