The heart of the POC-700 series offers two different Intel® Alder Lake processors. The POC-715 with i3-N305 processor is equipped with 8 cores, the POC-712 with Atom x7425E is equipped with 4 cores. The i3-N305 operates with a base clock frequency of 2.0 GHz and up to 2.6 GHz at maximum turbo clock frequency. The Atom® x7425E, on the other hand, has a base clock frequency of 1.5 GHz and a maximum turbo clock frequency of up to 3.4 GHz.
Four Intel® I350-AM4 Gigabit Ethernet ports are provided for the network connection. The POC-715 has a PoE+ function. There is also a display port, an HDMI port, four USB 3.2 ports and four serial interfaces via two ports. The software-programmable serial interface can be divided into one RS-232/422/485 and three RS-232, or one RS-232/422/485 and one RS-422/485 interface.
The main memory of the POC-700 series can be equipped with up to 16 GB DDR5 4800 MHz SDRAM via just one slot. An M.2 2280 M key is provided for storage media.
A full-size mini PCIe slot with internal micro SIM slot is available for the POC-700 series for expansion with LTE or WLAN. With a power supply of 8 to 35V, the POC-700 series can be used in extreme ambient temperatures from -25°C to 70°C.
ICP Germany supplies both POC-700 systems on request equipped with a suitable SSD and operating system as a ready-to-use system.
