PROFIBUS-DP / Fiber-Optic Converter / ST / MM

PROFI-2541 and PROFI-2541-SC are 2 profibus to fiber optic converters, which offer the safest solution for data transmission between two profibus networks. This is particularly important in harsh and electrically noisy environments.

The maximal fiber length between two PROFI-2541 is 1.4km, and the tranmission mode is multimode. PROFI-2541 (-SC) is an economic solution for applications which require protecting the data transmission from electrical exposure, surges, lightning or chemical corrosion.

Each Converter has one Fiber Port and one Profibus Port. The Connector type is SC for PROFI-2541-SC, and ST for PROFI-2541. The converter offers an electrical isolation on the Porfibus side. Both devices can be mounted on DIN-Rail and are powered by a 10-30 VDC power supply unit.
