Industrial 5G router with versatile expansion options

A fast start to the New Year - with 5G.

Fast data transmission, adaptable to customer-specific applications and expandable design. This is the promise of the new UR75-500GL router from ICP Germany.

The UR75-500GL is fast due to the 5G cellular network, expandable due to its interface diversity and customizable due to the integrated embedded Python app manager. The UR75-500GL is equipped with a Qualcomm four-core ARM Cortex-A7 with 716.8MHz clock frequency. 512MB DDR3 RAM and 8GB Flash memory are installed as standard. A networking capability of multiple cellular networks through the two mini-SIM card slots is also present. Furthermore, the UR75-500GL offers five 10/100/1000 Mbps network interfaces, 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac WLAN, GPS modem, one serial RS-232 and one RS-485 interface, as well as galvanically isolated digital input and output. Optionally, the UR75-500GL can be equipped with Power over Ethernet functionality, additional memory cards, and equipped with a 4G LTE modem or two RS-485 serial ports.

Modular Embedded PC certified for Milestone video management system

Video surveillance made easy.


ICP Deutschland offers with the SurveiPC a new series of Ready-to-Use systems, which are predestined for use in the field of video surveillance. The basis of SurveiPC is the modular embedded system MX1-10FEP-D, which is approved for the use of the milestone video management software XProtect® in addition to the "NGC Ready" classification.

The systems are equipped either with powerful XEON® or with Core ITM processors from Intel®. 32GB DDR4 RAM with a clock speed of 2666MHz and a 256GB industrial 3D-NAND TLC SSD are standard in the SurveiPCs. Furthermore the basic system offers remote power ON/OFF and remote reset, one Intel i219-LM and one i210-IT GbE LAN port, four USB 3.1, two USB 3.0, two USB 2.0, PS/2, two RS-232/422/485 interfaces and two SIM card holders. In addition, the versatile expansion options allow the system to be further upgraded. Up to 12 LAN ports, or 10 PoE connections, 10 serial interfaces and 16 digital inputs/outputs can be realized with the modular system.

The entry-level ME1-8MD-1G8G is equipped with an NXP® i.MX8M Dual Cortex-A53 with 1.3GHz clock frequency, 1Gb LPDDR4 onboard RAM and 8Gb eMMC memory. Functional upgrade for the Intel® Coffee Lake ATX motherboard IMBA-Q370, which has been in the product range of ICP Germany since 2018: the project-based Thunderbolt PCIe x4 plug-in card TB3-40GDP extends the IMBA-Q370 by two Thunderbolt 3 interfaces. Thunderbolt 3 offers transfer rates of up to 40Gbit/s and thus the possibility to transfer data faster than with USB3. The Thunderbolt card can be used to control displays with 4K, Ethernet or PXI measurement acquisition systems. With the integrated USB3.1 functionality the user has additional transfer rates of 10 Gbit/s on both ports available. The compatibility with USB-C is an advantage here, because the USB-C connector can be used on the TB3-40GDP without an additional adapter.

ICP Germany completes its solid state disk portfolio with an M.2 2280 series, which combines TLC technology with advanced data protection. In addition to models in the new M.2 2280 form factor, the T376 series also consists of models in mSATA and 2.5" form factor.

Common to all of them is the Powerguard or Power Loss Protection function, or PLP for short, a technology that provides additional power in the event of a power failure to complete the storage of data and thus prevent data loss. Thin Mini-ITX Mainboards

50 percent flatter than standard boards!


Thin Mini ITX motherboards from ICP Germany are particularly suitable as a basis for panel PCs, display systems, KIOSK systems or particularly flat embedded systems. Due to the extremely flat construction, the industrial design, the long availability as well as the extensive interfaces and the large selection of boards, the use of this form factor is recommended.

The Thin Mini ITX format corresponds to the standard Mini ITX form factor in terms of size and differs primarily in the height and the voltage input. Thin Mini ITX boards usually have horizontally positioned connectors and thus only have about 50% of the height of standard Mini ITX boards. Nevertheless, no savings are made on available interfaces. On the IO Shield there are usually two display connectors, two network connectors, four USB as well as audio and the connector for the power supply. Thin Mini ITX boards are neither equipped with a 24 pin power connector like standard boards nor do they need the usual range of voltages of an ATX board like 3.3V, 5V, 12V, .... Sufficient is a single voltage of 12V or for wide range voltage inputs a voltage between 8 to 24VDC.
