I-7051 is a remote I/O module with RS-485 interface, which offers 16 digital input channels for wet and dry contact. The effective distance for dry contact is up to 500 meters, and the type of contact is selected by the achieved wire connection. Each input channel includes a 16-bit counter, and on the channels, an overvoltage protection (+/- 70 VDC) is included. I-7051D is identical to I-7051, features additionally 16 LED indicators for the monitoring of the DI channel status.

I-7051 is fully RoHS-compliant and provide 4 kV ESD protection as well as 3750 VDC intra-module isolation for the most severe industrial environments. I-7051 supports the DCON protocol, and can be easily integrated into a wide range of applications with the help of the numerous included drivers and libraries. I-7051 is powered with an external power supply (10-30 Vdc).

I-7051 is especially recommended for remote monitoring and control applications in building automation, factory automation, production machines, test laboratories, or energy management.
