Ethernet IP module / 8DI / 8DO / isolated
EIP-2055 is an Ethernet I/O module communicating over Ethernet IP protocol, and providing 8 isolated digital input channels (dry and wet contact) as well as 8 isolated digital output channels. Each input channel includes a 32-bit counter, each output channel can drive up to 700 mA, and can be directly connected to a relay. One interesting feature is the daisy-chain functionality, which allows to connect in a row several units, without any additional switch or hub. This makes the installation cheaper and faster.
EIP-2055 channels and network settings and monitoring are achieved with the help of the included configuration utility, which can be installed under Windows 2K/XP/Vista and Win 7 is included.
EIP-2055 is powered with an external power supply (10-30 Vdc) and can be installed on DIN-Rail.
Ethernet IP is an industrial ethernet protocol allowing to access easily the production information directly from the office. This makes EIP-2055 especially recommended for data acquisition, remote monitoring and control applications in building automation, factory automation or further surveillance applications.
