For embedded digital signage applications that are developed for the usage in public areas, such as train stations, a reduced installation depth, high image quality and a remote maintenance function are considered as mandatory.

The tKINO-AL Mini-ITX of ICP Deutschland, based on the latest 14nm Intel® AtomTM, Pentium® or Celeron® on-board SoC of the Apollo Lake series, combines exactly these criteria. The flat design has consequently been implemented in the sense that heatsink and external I/O are installed in the same height (max. 20.2 mm).

The versatile range of functions include an embedded Display Port (eDP) and two DP++ that allow the control of three independent displays in 4K quality. Configuration and maintenance tasks can be remotely executed with an additional 3G module. For this purpose a full/half-size PCIe Mini slot with an on-board SIM holder is in place. In addition, there are two SATA 6G/s ports, a M.2 (B Key) and a PCIe x1 slot as expansion possibilities available.

In total, the tKINO-AL convinces with high computing power (dual and quad core processors) and strong graphics performance (Intel® HD Graphics Gen 9 Engine) at low thermal heat (TDP: 6-12W). Even under extreme temperatures from -20°C until +60°C the application runs smoothly. Pre-ordering starts now.
