TANK-871 – Powerful Embedded PC in a slim design

Digitization is on the rise and does not stop at building automation, machine and plant control. The processing and analysis of digital data requires powerful systems. Frequent lack of space and the variety of applications demand slimmer and more flexible customizable systems.

These requirements are fulfilled by the Embedded PC TANK-871 from ICP Deutschland due to its powerful computing unit, compact design and large selection of interfaces. Inside works an Intel® CoreTM i5 or i7 processor with Intel® Q170 chipset and max. 64GB DDR4 memory. Outside, the TANK-871 is enriched with a variety of interfaces. These include six COM ports, four USB 2.0 / 3.0 and 8 bit digital interfaces as well as two RJ-45 LAN GbE ports. Two 2.5" SATA 6Gb / s SSD bays provide enough storage capacity for the installation of software and backup. The integrated RAID modes 0 and I ensure a high write speed or a redundancy of the data sets. For customer-specific expansions, an mSATA slot and two Mini PCIe card slots are available.

The visualization of the control processes takes place via up to three independent displays. For this a VGA interface, an HDMI + DP combo and an internal display port (iDP) are provided. The latter can be used flexibly, as the iDP connection is converted to a LVDS, HDMI, VGA, DVI or DP connection via a converter board. An extended operating temperature and vibration resistance according to MIL-STD-810G make the TANK-871 a reliable and robust player in harsh environments.

Upon customer's request, ICP assembles the TANK-871 with SSD, CPU and RAM modules, executes BIOS adjustments and installs the requested operating system as Ready-to-Use system.
