For mobile data acquisition in logistics, hospitality or service and maintenance, comprehensive functions such as a fully protected housing, wireless communication, sufficient data storage and a 1D/2D barcode scanner are essential.

With the MODAT-550, ICP Deutschland offers an industrial PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) with a 5.5" capacitive touch display in full-HD resolution. Its extremely robust design consists of an all-round IP65 housing, resistance to shocks from a height of 1.5m and an operating temperature of -10°C ~+50°C. In addition, the integrated 1D/2D barcode scanner and the appropriate software ensure reliable decoding of many barcode types (PDF417, QR Code, Data Matrix, Aztec etc.), even in the event of unevenness or damage. NFC and a high-speed USB 2.0 interface enable device to device communication, which is essential for mobile data acquisition.

An up to 64GB MicroSD card slot and 16GB eMMC are available as data storage space. In addition to these special functions, the MODAT-550 offers all the usual functions of a modern smartphone such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, microphone, speakers and a 13MP camera and the operating system Android 7.0 by ICP.
