IPMC-111PB++-60W – High-Power PoE Media Converter
Powerful and maintenance-friendly media converter
With the new Power over Ethernet (PoE) media converter IPMC-111PB++-60W, ICP Deutschland expands its portfolio of communication products with a particularly powerful and maintenance-friendly variant.
Ethernet devices can be supplied with up to 60 watts of power via the 10/100Base-T(X) P.S.E. (Power Sourcing Equipment) RJ45 port according to the IEEE802.3at standard. Via a 100Base-FX SFP port, the IPMC-111PB++-60W is connected to the optical fiber network, thus can cover a range of up to 70km. Its ease of maintenance is underpinned by the integrated Link Fault Pass-through function (LFP). The LFP function is activated via a DIP switch and ensures that the connection of the transceiver port is checked regularly. In the event of an interruption or failure of the copper connection, the fiber link is interrupted, allowing the network administrator to take appropriate action.
In addition, the compact media converter is protected with an IP30 metal housing and is suitable for wall and DIN rail mounting in the control cabinet. The dual voltage input of 50~57VDC and the extended temperature range of -40~+75°C allow smooth operation of the PoE media converter in harsh environments.
ICP also supplies the IPMC-111PB++-60W with matching SFP modules and DIN rail power supplies.
