UHD 4K for developers and system integrators
High-resolution displays are increasingly used for digital signage or visualizations in factory buildings. The Pico-ITX CPU Board of ICP Deutschland provides excellent prerequisites for developers and system integrators of such systems with regard to graphic requirements, interfaces and expansion possibilities.
The highlight of the HYPER-BW board is that the two Micro HDMI outputs both feature ultra-high definition (4K) resolutions. These are driven by Intel‘s® HD Graphics Gen8 Engine that supports DX11.1, OpenGL4.2 und OpenCL 1.2. An Intel® 14nm Celeron®/Pentium® processor provides the necessary power. There are four different processors available to choose from, starting with Dual-Core 2.24GHz until Quad-Core 2.56GHz. Alongside these HDMI ports, there are additionally carried out one USB 2.0, one USB 3.0 and one Ethernet LAN interface.
The CPU Board is equipped with one DDR3L SO-DIMM slot for 8GB memory at the maximum und a M.2 (B Key) slot. The M.2 slot can be assembled with SATA 6Gb/s mass storage and a multitude of expansions for example PCIe x2, USB 2.0/3.0 as well as SMBus. The extended temperature range of -20°C~+60°C and the low power consumption (<19W) of the HYPER-BW are further advantages that developers alike system integrators of industrial embedded systems can utilize.
