HDC-301EL – HDMI Video Capture Card

Recording Full HD Video Live Streams

Recording Full HD videos in real time and simultaneously streaming them over networks or the internet can be an enhancement in the context of video surveillance and manufacturing processes.

The Video Capture Card HDC-301EL by ICP Deutschland combines both functions. The PCI Express Video/Audio Card is equipped with one HDMI input channel to connect different video recording devices. VideoLAN VLC, AMCap and other DirectShow compatible software enable the recording and streaming of videos. The decoding is carried out in accordance with H.264/AVC High Profile Level 4.1 and MPEG-4 High Efficiency Advanced Audio Coding for the video and audio signal respectively. The advantage of this combined standard is that despite the possible occurrence of low bit rates (96Kbit/s or less) a good video and audio quality can be guaranteed. That’s why the HDC-301EL Video Capture Card is particularly made for live streams.

The HDMI output channel is mounted on one slot bracket together with the input channel and enables uncompressed Full HD video signals being looped through. In order to ensure that developers have the necessary degrees of freedom for customized applications the HDC-301EL is offered with SDK and several demo programs for Windows® 7, Windows® Direct X 10.0 and Linux.
