POC-17C – Medical Panel PC with flexible expansions

Digitization of patient data

Time deficits, growing number of patients and changing medical and nursing staff are common in many nursing homes and hospitals. In this environment, it is advantageous to digitize the data collection and management in order to provide all parties involved with critical and up-to-date information about the patient’s status.

Whether on the patient bed or on the ward, the POC-17C from ICP Deutschland serves as a helpful Panel PC to advance the digitization process. The 17" SXGA display with capacitive multi-touch and high-performance Intel® Skylake processor form the basis of the equipment. HDMI, dual LAN, WLAN, eight USB, one RS-232/422/485 as well as camera and microphone are already integrated in the device.

The special features of the POC-17C are, however, the flexible expansion possibilities. A 3-in-1 card reader, an RFID module and a bar code scanner are optionally available for reading cards, tags, codes or fingerprints. For additional LAN, DLAN interfaces or 3G / 4G, there are matching E-Window modules provided, which are plugged in via a lateral PCIe mini-slot. The two 2.5" SATA 6Gb/s SSD slots are directly accessible on the back. Their RAID 0/1 function ensures redundant data sets.

In addition, the POC-17C has an IP65 protected front and antibacterial surface as well as flexible mounting possibilities. Alternatively, ICP Deutschland also offers a widescreen version with the POC-W24C.

By adding suitable industrial storage and a Windows operating system, the medical Panel PCs are immediately Ready-to-Use.
