Converter / RS-232 / 422 / 485 to Fiber Optic

I-2541 is a RS-232/422/485 to fiber optic converter, whose purpose is to secure short or long distance data transmission by using fiber optic transmission to provide immunity from EMI/RFI interference. I-2541 an be used for RS-232/422 point-to-point connections as well as for RS-485 multi-drop applications. I-2541 supports multimode transmission, and maximal transmission range reaches to 2 km.

Fiber connector on I-2541 is of type ST, its installation is very simple as it requires only a 10-30VDC power supply, and DIN-Rail installation is supported.

I-2541 is recommended for applications where transmission must be protected from electrical disturbances, surges or chemical corrosion.
